105 Students Wounded From Wednesday Earthquake
mudimesra.com | On Wednesday morning (07/12/2016) a 6,4 SR earthquake hit Pidie Jaya regency and the surrounding area which included Samalanga where Dayah MUDI Mesjid Raya situated.
After the earthquake, Dayah MUDI lost a building which was used for the school and the qubbah of the mosque which was currently being constructed.
According to official data from Dayah MUDI Public Relations stuff, the number of casualties from earthquake on Wednesday morning is 105 student with 5 among them are in critical condition. A few minutes after the earthquake stopped, the authority of Dayah MUDI took the victims to nearby hospitals to get a proper treatment.
It was unfortunate that one of the local media said that there are numbers of student trapped in the rubble which is not true. There is one casualty from dayah community, but the deceased is from the neighboring dayah, Ummul Ayman.
